Atlantic Health System and Parisi Speed School announce partnership
Atlantic Health System, one of the largest non-profit hospital organizations in New Jersey, announced today that it has joined forces with the Parisi Speed School, a leader in athletic performance enhancement, to become the official sports medicine partner for Parisi schools.
The partnership brings together the clinical expertise of Atlantic Health System, the parent company of Morristown, Overlook and Newton Medical Centers and Goryeb Children’s Hospital, with the professional expertise of Parisi Speed School, which has more than 75 franchise locations in 27 states, including 11 in New Jersey, 11 in New York, and five in Pennsylvania, and has trained more than 600,000 athletes.
“Partnering with Parisi Speed School will allow us to help a large number of athletes to not only enhance their training, but improve their overall health as well,” said Damion Martins, MD, director of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine for Atlantic Health System.

Athletes ages 8-18 throughout the region and patients of the Atlantic Sports Health program will benefit from the partnership in several ways, including:
- Parisi Speed Schools will tap into the expertise and resources offered by Atlantic Sports Health professionals and programs, such as metabolic testing, VO2 max testing, performance nutrition and functional step-down programs to assist patients and athletes to return to activity.
- Injured athletes can now be referred by Parisi directly to Atlantic Sports Health known for health care experts of the highest level offering orthopedic, concussion, rehabilitation and other sports-related care.
- A new Parisi Speed School location will open at 111 Madison Ave., the current site of the region’s most comprehensive Sports Medicine program, operated by Atlantic Health System.
The organizations will work closely together on education and clinical research in sports performance and childhood obesity. Damion Martins, MD, will become medical advisor for Parisi Speed School, while Bill Parisi will join Atlantic Sports Health’s Research Committee.
Atlantic Health System is the official health care partner of the New York Jets and an official health care provider of the New Jersey Devils.
