Family Service of Morris County’s Hope for the Holidays
Family Service of Morris County’s (FSMC) Hope for the Holidays is not just a gift drive, but a program that brings joy to needy families, seniors, and children. In today's economy, there are many who are having a difficult time, so donations and gifts from individuals, companies, organizations, or schools, will truly bring joy to those in need.
Such is the case of the Jones family. The parents of three are both employed, but are struggling and may lose their home to foreclosure. All their disposable income is used for doctor bills and medication for their terminally ill eldest son. Without the program, they would not be receiving gifts of warm clothing this holiday. Another example is Ginny, an 86 year old woman who lives alone in senior housing. Ginny has no family or surviving friends, so the gift from Hope for the Holidays may be her only gift this year.
Thanks to the many individual contributors and companies, FSMC families, children, and individuals in need will have at least one gift for the holidays. Corporate contributors include Normandy Real Estate Partners, The Daily Record Operation Holiday Program, iMedia inc., Nestle Infant Nutrition, Starbucks, BASF, Novartis Pharmaceutical Corporation, Tumbleweeds, Florham Park Seniors Helping Seniors Group, Royal Coachman Limousine Company, Boonton Ladies Club, Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland Perretti, Western Appliance, Avis, Wells Fargo, UPS, Macro Consulting, Watson Pharmaceuticals, Premium Outlets/Simon, Wells Fargo and others.
