Golf event to benefit two local organizations
The Community Children’s Museum, in partnership with Interfaith Council for Homeless Families of Morris County, will host its Sixth Annual Golf Outing at the Picatinny Arsenal Golf Club in Rockaway Township to benefit the both organizations.
The Community Children’s Museum provides artistic and interactive children’s programming and exhibits. Interfaith Council is an organization dedicated to ending the crisis of family homelessness in the Morris County area. The outing offers a fun day of golf, food and prizes.
The cost per golfer is $140, which includes barbeque lunch before round of golf, dinner, beverages and snacks, and greens and cart fees ($40 for dinner only).
Prizes will be awarded for various golf skill contests, and there will also be a raffle, tricky tray and silent auction.
Registration will begin at 11 a.m., with tee time at 12:30 p.m. Dinner will be held at approximately 5 p.m.
