Morristown Mayor Welcomes Toastmasters

Toastmasters District 83, of metropolitan New Jersey, Rockland County and Staten Island, New York will be holding its annual Spring Conference on May 5 & 6, in Morristown, New Jersey. This year’s theme, “Knowledge is Power, Public Speaking is Empowering” will draw over 150 individuals from throughout the District as well as visiting Toastmasters, their families and guests from surrounding areas, including New York.

 

The Honorable Timothy P. Dougherty, Mayor of Morristown, will welcome the attendees during the dinner banquet, May 5, at the Morristown Hyatt Hotel, 3 Speedwell Avenue, Morristown, NJ.

 

Lisa Pantano, DTM, Toastmasters District 83 Governor, is proud to announce Morristown as the host city for the annual Spring Conference for 2012.  The Spring Conference is a time for networking, educational workshops and when the District conducts its annual elections for the new leadership of the District.  A banquet dinner is also on the agenda.  Speaking after dinner will be the renowned mystery author, Carol Higgins Clark.  More information regarding the annual Spring Conference can be found at this URL: http://toastmasters83.org/district-conference/online-registration.html
