Otto Bertram and Betty Ann Lee, both residents of Morristown, were named Volunteers of the Year at the Mayo Performing Arts Center. The awards were given at the Mayo Performing Arts Center's annual volunteer summer picnic.
Betty Ann Lee of Morristown has been volunteering with MPAC since September 2006. Betty Ann is always up for a challenge, has learned all Front of House positions, and is always willing to jump in where help is needed. Her kind disposition and willingness to expand her skills and constant readiness for anything helps make the Volunteer Program stronger.
Otto Bertram of Morristown has been a Volunteer at MPAC since September 2009. Otto immediately showed his exceptional work ethic within his first year with us, receiving the 2009 "Rookie of the Year Award." Otto volunteered at over 90 performances this past season and has helped Front of House Staff with everything from unloading and loading of school buses at kids shows, to ushering and changing the marquee at night. He is always dressed to the nines and truly is an amazing asset to the MPAC Volunteer Program.
Mayo Performing Arts Center has over 150 volunteers who help out in a variety of functions, including as ushers, ticket takers, concessionaires and office workers.
