As June steps aside for July, high temps are becoming more the norm rather than exception.

The Senior Center at Town Hall has been open several times already this year as a "Cooling Center" for those in need of some heat beating. But, as the mercury is expected to climb well above that magic number on Friday, the town has announced the Senior Center will be available to anyone all summer, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, in the event it gets up to or above 90 degrees.

The Senior Center is located on the third floor of Town Hall, 200 South St.
