Are You Driving Less Because of Rising Gas Prices?

A gallon of regular petrol inches closer to $4.

As temperatures begin to feel a lot more like summer, people are venturing out and about. For a lot of us, especially here in Morristown, that involves our two feet.

But, those in the suburbs might need to take their cars to get where they want to go (the Green, for example). And, that, of course, takes gas. Unfortunately, it's not getting any lower.

This week, prices were precipitously close to $4 a gallon for regular gas at the Lukoil and Gulf stations on the corner of Washington and Mills streets. The best price, at Spartan on East Hanover Avenue in Morris Township, was at $3.74 a gallon, according to our "Commute" page. Less, but still not cheap.
