Art Around the Park Returns Friday
Opening reception at Simon Gallery from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 14.
Morristown's quarterly exhibition of art returns Friday as seven locations host "Art Around the Park," from 5 to 8 p.m.
The self-guided tour will run through Dec. 7. But, interested art afficionados will be able to take advantage of a number of perks on opening night, as Simon Gallery, on Bank Street hosts an opening reception, complete with wines from The Grapeful Palate. Sweet Lucy's Bakery, also one of the participating locations, will have free sweets for visitors.
"This free self-guided art walk offers the public the opportunity to view art at venues in proximity to Morristown’s historic Green," said Carol Graumann, co-owner of The Grapeful Palate.
All seven exhibits will be available for viewing at least four days a week during normal business hours, while at least two exhibits will be available for viewing every day of the week.
