Fit for a Bride: Where to Shop for Wedding Items in Morris

These bridal shops in and around Morristown have gorgeous dresses and wedding accessories for any budget.

Planning a wedding? Whether you're a bride, mother of the bride, or a very interested party, shopping for "The Dress" and accessories to go with it can be a little overwhelming. The good news is you don't have to travel far—there are some great bridal stores in and around Morristown, Morris Township and Morris Plains.

Shopping at locally-owned bridal stores gives you the consideration and attention to detail every bride deserves.

"You are on a first-name basis with most locally owned bridal shops after you walk in the door once," said independent bridal consultant Nikole Payne. "They become friends with their customers and count on that special relationship they build with their clients."

Payne says building these relationships is what makes shopping locally so special and keeps her customers coming back. "Chances are, the bride's bridesmaids, mom, sister or even a guest at the wedding will be their next bride or client. Locally owned bridal shops are greatly dependent on word of mouth in small communities," said Payne.

The wide selection and the quality of the dresses are added benefits of shopping locally.

"The customer will get better dress quality because the owner is personally vested in the business," said Payne. "In the bridal industry, the top designers and trendsetters are typically only sold to boutiques who are locally owned retailers."

How did you miss I do, I do? It is right on South Street...We got my sisters wedding dress there, and the women in the shop were lovely. We got our bridesmaid dresses at Dressed to the Nines.

My daughter was married in Morristown last Spring. She was able to shop for almost everything right in town. Cherish the Moment, i do, i do, Dain Shop, Hannah's flowers, Suzi's for hair, Annie's for makeup. Also, C'est Cheese for wedding day platters, Enjou for favors, Governor Morris for out of town guests and rehearsal dinner.
Morristown Partnership is right, they have it all in Morristown.
