This thing is pretty simple. You want to have stuff to do this weekend. We have a list of stuff to do this weekend, both in the Morristown area and beyond.

Live Jazz with Piano Man Larry Hunt
When/Where: Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Momento Fine Dining and Restaurant Lounge, 374 Morsetown Road, West Milford
Why Go: The Larry Hunt Trio has performed in more than 1,000 venues throughout the U.S.A. and Europe. He will be joined by Tom Rosenthal on baritone and tenor sax and Keith Muldare on acoustic bass
Cost: Your dinner.

Preservation Celebration 2012
When/Where: Friday at 6 p.m. at The Mansion at Bretton Woods, Morris Plains.
Why Go: You want to mix and mingle with historic preservation muckety mucks, and have a good time doing it.
Cost: $85

Producers Club of Madison Student Cabaret
When/Where: Friday, 7:30 p.m. at the Madison Public Library, 39 Keep St.
Why Go: To check out an evening of song and musical performances by the cast of Madison High School’s upcoming spring musical, “The Wizard of Oz.”
Cost: $5

Special Exhibit: It's About Time
When/Where: Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Jefferson Township Historical Museum, 316 Dover-Milton Rd., Oak Ridge.
Why Go: Because you can see a lot of cool antique clocks and hear collector Paul Cincotta talk about them.
Cost: Free

4th Annual Awaken! International Film Festival
When/Where: At various times Friday-Sunday at The Center for Spiritual Living Morristown, in Morris Township.
Why Go: You want to see progressive films, mingle with like-minded folks, enjoy some food, and more.

Saturday Morning Road Ride From Marty's
When/Where: Saturday at 8 a.m. from Marty's Reliable Cycle, Morristown
Why Go: Because you're an avid cyclist that can keep up with some hearty legs and some heavy hills.
Cost: Free 

SAT Review Class
When/Where: Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church in Bridgewater.
Why Go: To take a one-day comprehensive review of the SATs, with a focus on mathematics and English.
Cost: $50

Big Apple Circus
When/Where: Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at TD Bank Ballpark.
Why Go: To see the circus's "Dream Big" show, complete with acrobats, trapeze flyers, a juggler and much more.
Cost: $20

Murder Mystery at the Deli
When/Where: Saturday, 7 p.m. at Morristown Deli, Morristown
Why Go: You want to enjoy a murderously good time.
Cost: $55, includes dinner and show.

New Jersey Young Professionals Turns 8!
When/Where: Saturday, 7 p.m. at The Side Bar, Morristown
Why Go: You want to mix and mingle with other young professionals, while celebrating this organization's anniversary.
Cost: $20 at the door.

Harmonium Choir Concert, 'In Sure and Certain Hope'
When/Where: Saturday, 8 p.m., at Morristown United Methodist Church (also at 3 p.m. Sunday)
Why Go: You want to hear the beauty of a choir in a large, beautiful church.
Cost: $25 general admission at the door, $20 for students and seniors 

13th Annual Family Purim Carnival
When/Where: Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center.
Why Go: To spend time with the family by taking part in the annual carnival to celebrate the Jewish holiday of Purim.
Cost: Free

The Writers Circle Speaker Series
When/Where: Sunday at 2 p.m., 300 Main St., Madison.
Why Go: Literary agent and author Paula Balzer will take participants through the process of telling their most personal tales in a compelling, relatable, and readable manner.
Cost: $25

Art @ The 'Bu
When/Where: Sunday at 6 p.m. at Zebu Forno, Morristown.
Why Go: You want to get your art on in the company of like-minded folks, over a little pizza.
Cost: $10 includes one drink, two slices of pizza and three hours with model.
