Morristown has been touted as a walkable community. But, every once in a while, you need to sit down.
As part of the town's ongoing South Street Streetscape Improvement Project, several benches were installed Thursday in front of South Street Creamery and Cafe. The project, which began in 2011, has also included new sidewalks, tree plantings and some new garbage cans.

Benches on South Street are a good idea, and I hope that they are made of the same material as Trex decks.

These are great! It is always awesome to see the downtown area welcoming people to relax and enjoy a break when walking around! Would love to see more benches!
