It's time for a little hope.
By Wednesday, power was starting to come back on for some in the area. As of 9 p.m. Oct. 31, Morristown was down to 33% without power. Township was down to 70%, Morris Plains was still high but lower than before at 84%.
So, to that end, we're making a switch. We want you to let us know where there is power. That is, where has power been restored. Feel free to leave your comments below and, as always, be sure to name your street and town. And, this time around, let everyone know when power went back on where you live.

Crescent Drive and Bradley Road have power back, around noon today. Don't know if it will stay that way (there is still a tree on the power lines on Crescent!), but we hope so!

We got the power last night around 1.00am last night after almost 2 days, went out again at 9.20am on 10/31. Hoping it is restored soon - liberty greens @convent station.

They have t even driven in Burnham park must less started cleanup. We have two trees down on Fairmount blocking residents in their homes. Both east Lake and west Lake are blocked with down trees (more than one tree); Dorothy has a tree blocking road; Hillcrest has a tree in road .... Not one has been removed. I don't even think anyone looked at them.

Debbie, one of the huge trees blocking Fairmount was removed two days ago. I also saw a crew at least assessing yesterday.

Hillcrest is still out of power and the tree is still blocking the road. There is also a tree hanging on the lines at the top of the hill. Called JCP&L tonight and we are being told 7 days. Given all the devastation, I really don't want to complain but I hope we get it back before the temps get any lower. Brrrrrrrr..........

They said that they need to have tree guys to work first... They cannot do anything until tree guys take of trees... They don't work together... On Hillcrest, JCP&L guys were waiting for degree guys at Locust.... First to work on the one near Locust, then go down to the big one by Washington... If "inthepark" is correct, We, Hillcrestan" are push backed... We need TREE GUYS!!!!!! TREE GUYS HELP!!!!!!

Trees still down on Wetmore, Doughty, and Ogden blocking the roadway. Lidgerwood Parkway by James Street still doesn't have power I guess we will be the last people fixed in Morrisotwn!

Crescent Drive still has a tree on wires, and live wires in street, but our power is back. Waiting to see if JCPL will shut us down again to remove the tree and repair wires and pole. No news yet.

As of yesterday afternoon the Burnham Park roads - West Lake, East Lake, Fairmount, Dellwood - are all blocked with downed trees on the roads, split poles and/or power lines down. No sign of any tree or line work.

I feel your pain Mary Ann. I'm on Wetmore Ave by the dead end and we are still without power. It seems like the rest of Morristown has gotten their power back. I guess we will be the last ones in town. They finally did come to remove the tree on Ogden and cleared a path on Wetmore, so hopefully the Utility Crews aill be there soon.

Hope it happens for you. Believe it or not our power line are underground but we seem to lose power more often and for longer than most. We think our problem is either on skyline or mt Kemble and there doesn't seem to be any action going on at either place.

I drove by today and the power remained out for the last block of wetmore ave. Has anyone heard about when it might be restored? As far as i can tell, the transformers on Ogden haven't been fixed.

Just got an email to expect intermittent outages in currently powered areas while other grids are being put online. Apparently yesterday's Cattano outage was due to this. JCP&L says that any deliberate outage will not last longer than 4 hours.

@janetPC, is all of western have power? I live about a block or so into the township up from the Quick Mart and Fire Station, however I have been away on business through the whole event and now in limbo coming back due to lack of Power. Does anybody else have any info on western age electricty in Morris township?

Thompson Ave in Dover got power Thursday around 4pm and lost it again yesterday (Saturday) around 5pm. Does anybody know what's going on? I thought it was deliberate, but it's 215pm Sunday afternoon and still nothing....
