Local Holiday Shopping, on Etsy

You have some creative neighbors in Morristown.

Here at Morristown for Sale, we have checked out what your neighbors are selling on Craigslist and eBay. This week, we check out what they're selling–and making–on the popular website Etsy. Why didn't we think of this sooner?

Here are five sellers that want you to put their wares under your Christmas tree this year.

  1. Check Out 'Alice in Crochetland:' This seller crochets primarily with wire jewelry, on such items as watches and necklaces.
  2. Check Out Jo Bradney: This artist, according to her Etsy page, loves to "recreate those small pockets of serenity that illuminate my daily routine." Artist prints come in larger sizes, cards, calendars and more.
  3. Check Out 'Katie of the Sea:' According to this seller, "if you're looking for funky, handmade accessories for yourself, for a friend, for your daughter ... you've come to the right place!" That includes "cute little dinosaur earrings."
  4. Check Out 'Elvie's Boutique:' This seller specializes in Victorian ornaments, boxes and more. A note on their page indicates a 25 percent off "Spring Sale." Perhaps they'll honor that promotion now?
  5. Check Out 'The Midnight Honeybee:' This seller's products seem focused on various handmade baby items, like the "Organic Teddy Bear Hat" and "Eco-Friendly ABC Blanket." Any new moms out there?

BONUS: PennyRose Yarns: Fritzi's Etsy shop is full of yarns she needs to get rid of, so they're on sale. Who knows? Maybe you'll open the next Etsy shop using products you bought there? Whoa, meta.
