Market St. Mission Thrift Store Reopens

George Street business was destroyed by Hurricane Irene.

Months after Hurricane Irene swept through Morristown, the Market Street Mission Thrift Store–one of a number of operations in town affected–is back open.

created havoc throughout our community late last August. The devastating impact of the storm affected the lives of many families and businesses. One of the casualties was . The thrift store was flooded and completely knocked out of operation for over 3 months. During that time . People called, prayed, sent money and volunteered their time. After much hard work, we are proud to announce that we are open. Trucks are back on the road for pickup and clothing, furniture, cars and bric-a-brac are once again available for sale.
