Morristown Library Inspires HGTV Makeover

"Color Splash" designer David Bromstad visits library at request of clients.

On Saturday's episode of the HGTV show "Color Splash," designer David Bromstad paid a visit to the Makeover clients Craig and Marissa Perrotta of Wayne asked him to bring some of the library's bright, airy feel to their dark, low-ceilinged basement.

Bromstad won the first series of "Design Star" on HGTV and has hosted his own show ever since.

Bromstad admired the tall ceilings in the library and the large windows that let in an enormous amount of light. He admitted that bringing that feeling to a basement family room would be a challenge.

Fortunately for the Perrottas, the show ended as they usually do on HGTV, with happy clients viewing a beautifully transformed space.
