Nominate the Best Place for Dinner NOT on a Budget
Let us know the best fine restaurant around so we can put it to a vote and find out which is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.
Where's the best place for dinner when you're not on a budget?
Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and anyone else who knows about the area to nominate the best spots in the Morristown area.
We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.
All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.
Thanks in advance for your participation.
The nomination period ended on July 9. Voting will begin on July 23.

Guerriero's is great but probably doesn't belong on this list: it's not expensive.
I'd say Roots by a landslide. Amazing appetizers, steaks and a great wine list.

Not on a budget: Grand Cafe, Rod's Steakhouse, Sebastians .. All of the excellent Italian restaurants in town are mostly BYOW, so that saves you there.

Grand Cafe is dining that offers the best experience in Morristown and certainly one of the best in the country. There really is nothing like it.
I recommend starting with a perfectly hand-crafted Bloody Mary, made with icy Boru Vodka. A fine starter would be the in-house cured Smoked Salmon, served with toast points and capers/chopped onions. This is perfection and simplicity on a plate. If you ever get a chance to try their textbook Breast of Free Range Chicken Française you should. It's the perfect balance of savory to tangy. Service is subtle, non-intrusive and kind. In the warmer months you can dine outside.
Desmond and his wife Alice will do everything in their power to see that you have a one-of-a-kind experience.
Cheers!
