Nominate the Best Place for Pizza

Let us know the best pizza place so we can put it to a vote and find out which is the Readers’ Choice 2012 winner.

Where can you find the best pizza?

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and anyone else who knows about the area to nominate the best spots in Morristown, Morris Township and Morris Plains.

We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Thanks in advance for your participation.

The nomination period ended on July 9. Voting will begin on July 23.

Easily Suvio's. Brick Oven is great too.

I've written about Tomato Pie in a couple of magazines. This is real pizza like you get in Naples. No, it's not full of fake cheese or un-risen dough. It's carefully made with love. The grandma pie is as good, if not better than those enjoyed in Trenton. Our water is better for making dough.

Perhaps I'll have to try Tomato Pie again. A lot of people here seem to like it. I found it to be pretty bland my first two times there.

why? What makes it so good? I tend to disagree because it's so sterile in there.

I agree easily Suvios. Classic, consistent, amazing crust and great sauce. Our absolute favorite is their Sicilian. Just a note here, Pizza as most of us know it was created by Italian immigrants in the US. Our many ideas of Pizza (deep dish, NY style, Detroit, California, etc) only bears a passing resemblance to what an Italian, or Neapolitan might call Pizza. IMHO the Pizza in Naples is pretty boring stuff, taste and variety beats "Authentic" every time.

funny. authentic is not as desirable as the imitation. we grew up on one thing, yet the classic is something else entirely.
I like the boring, give me the slow.. the simple. the passion for the culinary arts through history. It may be not to your taste, that's fine... yet it is authentic.

Morris Pizza has been great and very consistant for years. Kevin and his father put out a great pizza and their new place in the MidTown Shopping Center (where Burger King is) is much more comfortable for eating in. Been going there for years.

Tomato Pie - different (and better) than all others (IMHO)

Anthony's Pizza. I find it consistent and delicious. The fact that it's been running in Morristown for over 15 years even with all the new competition over the years say's something.

Pete's is the best. Milanos is poison; I can't figure out how they stay in business.

Pizza Palace...may be border of Randolph and the township. Great tasty thin crust. Perfectly seasoned sauce. The garlic pizza is amazing.
