Photos: Washington Building, a Sea of Concrete
What remains is part of a wall, and a big pile of rubble.
Goodbye, Washington Building.
Once the demolition of the 50-year-old Morristown structure went into full swing, it was a matter of days before what had dominated the corner of Washington Street and Schuyler Place had opened up to the view of Tito's Burritos and The Grand Cafe (depending on which way you were looking).
Now, what remains before the site can become a new pocket park is to clean up all the debris from the demolition.
