Poll: Who's Reading Morristown Patch?

Call us curious.

Today's "Morristown Question of the Day" is a bit self-serving. Please forgive us.

Since launching in August 2010, Morristown Patch has gained momentum. And, man, do we ever thank you. Without you, neither would this site be able to survive, it just wouldn't be worth it.

So, today, we're a little curious as to who is frequenting our site. Today's poll is pretty basic. We know we're all more than just our ages and sexes, but please humor us. Maybe, in the future, if our curiosity is not yet piqued, we'll dissect the model further still. But, for now ...

Who's reading Morristown Patch? Chime in below.

Why isn't the Patch being read by a younger aged audience? Could it be they are more interested in "self" than in their community. Or could it be that the Patch isn't a video game or a beverage of choice?
It will be interesting to see if the Patch attempts to change it's format to attract a younger crowd.

I like both videogames and beverages, coincidentally enough. Hopefully, that will be enough to win over the kiddies.

I'd say that is a rather broad assumption. I'm 25 and read Patch daily, and I'm very interested in the community especially its sustainability efforts. As far as format goes, I think it works quite well. I follow them on my twitter feed and its a great way to stay up to date.

I like to know what happening. Appreciate the coverage of town meeting and stories about what our local government officials are doing.

Thanks, Marge. Though, the winter doldrums have made for slow govt news. That picks up next week.

I like the Patch..it serves an important purpose of local news. I also like Morristown Green for the same reason. but I love my morning DailyRecord with my morning coffee!

I'm 24 and I love to read Patch and so does my entire family. We always talk about what we've read on the site. I like that it gives us info about when new stores are opening or small events around town.

"It will be interesting to see if the Patch attempts to change it's format to attract a younger crowd."
I think the issue is that many older people just don't use the computer that much.
