Question: Do You Have Power Back?

Several neighborhoods saw the light Monday night, but many remained in the dark Tuesday.

As of Tuesday morning, the signs of a freak, late-October snowstorm were still visible in Morristown. Dirty piles of snow still lined South Street, while Morris School District students were getting their second snow day in a row.

As of shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday, about 6,200 JCP&L customers were still being reported without power in Morristown (ZIP Code, which can include Morris Township, some of Harding and some of Mendham), according to their outage map. This was a drop from about 9,000 on Monday, as several neighborhoods–including several roads in the Cutler Park neighborhood–had power restored Monday night.

Which brings us to our "Question of the Day:" Do you have your power back? Were you one of the lucky ones that saw the light Monday night, or are you still getting your Morristown Patch fix in one of our fine coffee shops that offer free wi-fi? Chime in below.
