Readers: For Sushi, Nagano Goes Over the Best
Longtime Morristown raw fish favorite favored in Readers' Choice poll.
It was a tight race, on a subject many people are passionate about, with many opposing views.
No, we're not talking about the upcoming Presidential election. This is Morristown, so obviously, we're talking about sushi.
We asked in this week's "Readers' Choice" where your favorite sushi joint was in Morristown, Morris Township and Morris Plains. Several took early leads and never looked back. Nagano, Sushi Lounge and Aikou fought neck-and-neck. But, ultimately, there could be only one.
And, the winner is ... Nagano!
This longtime Washington Street destination (which, hopefully, is not looking for a buyer anymore) beat out Sushi Lounge, another popular spot, by just one vote. Wow.

Sushi Lounge is great for those who need a trendy atmosphere and expensive food/drinks. The sushi is not superior, I'll take Nagano any day over SL.
If you want to pretend to be a New York trendoid for a couple of hours, Sushi Lounge is great. Otherwise you can have a nice quiet quality sushi meal at Nagano just a block away.

Nagano is by far better the food is always fresh and its a great family friendly place!
