Morristown Officials Made False Remarks After Harassment Claim, Employee Says
Woman alleges former Zoning Officer John Fugger continued to harass her even after she filed a police report.
A Morristown employee has filed another tort claim against the town regarding statements made against her a news conference, NJ.com reported.
The woman filed a claim alleging that Zoning Officer John Fugger continued to harass her even after she filed a police report against him. The claim stated Fugger had made unwanted calls to the woman after hours, despite being told to stop. She accused Fugger of harassment in October. Fugger was suspended without pay.
Fugger was told to stay away from the woman.
She filed a second tort claim Feb. 1, NJ.com reported. In it, she alleges that Mayor Tim Dougherty, Business Administrator Michael Rogers, and the town published “false statements of fact” about her in a news release issued Jan. 29.
Fugger resigned from his position March 9.

This mayor has too many issues with women. He is always with his all boy group proud as a peacock in Roots every Friday night.
I can't believe this poor woman continues to get harrassed. Its bad enough that the zoning officer did this to her. Now the top two males in the building have begun.
Enough is enough in that building.
Dougherty must go. This is wrong

Read the article on Morristowngreen.com
They describe all of the sad actions taken by our administrator and our classless mayor.
Do we have a town attorney that can tell them when to just shut up?

This man is supposed to be a model for our town and he chooses to disrespect a female like this. This is not proper behavior from our mayor

I have no respect for any person working in that town hall. A bunch of public servants that think they are royalty. It is time to clean house from the janitor all the way up to the Mayor. Every clerk, secretary, everyone. OUT!

Are you kidding me? Everyone in town hall is working in fear. Women get sexually harrassed and belittled for asking for help. The mayor fires anyone that speaks up. Do your research before making a statement like that. There are good people in town hall working in a horrible environment.
