The 2012 Morris County St. Patrick's Day Parade Grand Marshal is accused of driving while intoxicated, hitting a parked car and leaving the scene of the accident.

A second Morristown man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl in September 2011 was denied house arrest on Monday.

Third Party Presidential Candidate Comes to Morristown
Rocky Anderson, who served as the Democrat Mayor of Salt Lake City from 2000 to 2008, is running for President under the recently-formed Justice Party. Anderson will be speaking on Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship, in Morris Township.
I-287 Overpass Work to Begin, Will Last 9 Months
The James Street bridge over Interstate 287 will be closed for the next nine months starting on Friday. Motorists should plan alternative routes around James Street as the New Jersey Department of Transportation replaces the deck, which is expected to be completed by next May.
Morristown High School Ranked No. 75 in State
Morristown High School was ranked 75th for high schools in New Jersey by New Jersey Monthly Magazine. MHS dropped nine spots from 66 out of 328 schools in 2010 in the bi-annual poll.
South Street Dance Coming to Morristown
A new dance studio is coming to South Street this September. South Street Dance, at 51 South St. (in the back of the Dr. Lewis Condict House, where The Woman's Club of Morristown is located), is set to open on Sept. 17.
