What Do You Want to See Occupy This Space?

A new, ongoing series looks at empty spaces around Morristown.

There are a lot of businesses that call Morristown home. However, there also are still plenty of empty spaces where businesses could be.

Here at Morristown Patch, we are going to highlight those spaces and ask you, our readers, what you would like to see "Occupy This Space."

For our first installment, we are going to highlight a space that has been vacant for a long time. A former lumber yard in ages past (well before Morristown Patch even existed), this empty lot surrounded by a "Rent-a-Fence" exists at the end of Elm Street, between Morris and Hill streets, near the Morristown Train Station. Next to it rests what appears to have once been a dwelling, a storefront, and now sits empty and boarded.
