What Should Occupy Space on 'Comfort Food Row?'
Between Grilled Cheese at the Melt Factory and the forthcoming Fatty's is a space that has not been occupied in almost four years.
Those looking to absorb some of their late-night consumptables have a number of options.
Cluck-U Chicken and Morristown Diner have been around for a while. Nearby, Grilled Cheese at the Melt Factory (formerly called The Grilled Cheese Factory) has been soaking up suds for over a year. And, just a few storefronts down from that, Fatty's is expected to bring the grease truck experience of Rutgers to Morristown in October.
Indeed, it's those last two, with the addition of any new afterhours dining joints, that could effectively create a sort of "comfort food row" on Morris Street.
Is that what you would like to see occupy 40 Morris St., last occupied by insurance agent James A. Connors Associates almost four years ago? Or, would you like something non-food-related there to break up the pace? Chime in below.

I believe Morristown has 4 steak houses, 3 yogurt stores on the same street, i.e. South Street and certainly more than enough banks! I would like to see a restaruant that serves Texas babecue, pulled pork and steak, ribs, corn on the cob, etc. Hopefully not another Chinese restaurant!

Enough restaurants already!!! How about some retail stores. I'm tired of having to drive to a mall every time that I need to buy something.
