What Should Occupy the Former Shake It!/Cha Cha Cha?

The burger-centric dining destination closed on Jan. 11; the most recent owner said a new business is expected soon.

Well, that was quick.

No, we're not talking about the closure of Shake It! Burgers and Dogs, which ceased operations on Jan. 11 after less than a year in the space formerly occupied by Cha Cha Cha Cuban Bistro. According to Ray Luetters, the owner of Shake It! since June 2012, "the new proprieter will apparently be opening soon."

Moving at the speed of business in Morristown.

We have already heard several people lament the loss, not just of Shake It! but of what it replaced--Cha Cha Cha, Morristown's only Cuban dining destination. Now, our Spidey Senses are tingling as to what will replace Shake It!

What do you think is destined for the location? What do you hope is destined for the location? Chime in below.

How about a good southern barbeque restaurant? We have 3 steakhouses, mulitple yogurt shops within stores of each other, 4 chinese restaurants and more than enough pizza, italian restaurants. Another burger place...hell no!

I think this place would be perfect for an alcohol addiction facility, since Morristown promotes the abuse of booze with its drunken St. Patrick's Day Parade and drunken Pub Crawls, overabundance of liquor licenses, etc. Remember the new Morristown motto: Binge and Puke.

The only reason I live in Morristown is because of the bars. Take out the bars and i'll take myself and my tax money somewhere else.

I hate people having fun. I am a loser and I want everyone else to be unhappy. Bars cause so many problems, like socializing and fun. Can we please do something to stop this?
