You Know You're From Morristown When ...

We don't make trends, we follow them, apparently.

Every once in a while, a question or game or trend pops up on Facebook that more people don't just dutifully ignore, which is the usual situation.

Seemingly overnight, a new question has emerged: You know you're from (fill in your hometown or school or business or ...) when ...

So, without further adieu, let us get on this bandwagon!

"You know you're from Morristown when ..."

Chime in below.

About this column: We ask Morristownians their opinions every weekday.

When people ask you for directions and you say go around the "Green" or "Square" and they look at you like you just said the moon!

You realize that it is a great place but lacks leadership that is required to cut and reduce property taxes. Morris township and Morris plains have lower taxes because the voters there would never allow them to have the highest property taxes in Morris county. Morristown allows the two largest employers to pay no property taxes, and gives away too much in salary iand benefits to town employees who do not live and would never live in Morristown. This gives the homeowners higher taxes. Not enough people know this....... Or just don't care.
