5,000 Hats and Counting

Last night, thanks to Gensler, a local architecture company, we reached our most recent goal. They donated approximately 70 hats which brought our total hat number to just over 5,000! Wow! We are very excited. Now, we are asking for help with our next goal: 6,000 winter hats by June 26th, the day I graduate from high school.

Please continue to send hats to PO Box 2374, Morristown, NJ 07962-2374 or you can drop them off at either Trillium Yarns 1007 Mt Kemble Ave in Morristown, NJ 07960 (973) 425-0480 or The Shops at 10 Pine Street in Morristown, NJ. Don't forget to find us on Twitter and Facebook.

Emily, there are many in the Western world that complain about issues but do nothing. You made that big step and reached out and now, you can potentially bring so much joy to so many people. Thank you for bringing hats out there. The cold of the winter is often unbearable for the homeless and hats are certainly a great asset to have. You have my support Emily and keep doing what you do.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I agree that a warm winter hat is a great asset to a homeless person. Even though I can not solve their homeless issue, I can still make a difference. The difference I can make is what I focus on. I could not have done all that I have done without the support of thousands of people from around the world. If we all do just a little bit imagine what an impact we could make in the world!
