Want to Make a Difference in Someone's Life? Be a Mentor

John Franklin, the CEO of the United Way of Northern New Jersey, recently sent out a message asking people in the community at large to get involved and be mentors.

Here is some of what John said:

Here at United Way, we recognize the importance of building relationships to build stronger communities. That's why we offer a nationally-recognized, model mentor training  program that molds residents into effective mentors.  Learn more about our trainer Patrick Fennell and sign up for one of our free classes in your community!

Their goal is to recruit 300 new mentors this year.  They are halfway there already! Visit the mentor center here.

I have personally been trained by Patrick in this program and was able to participate in a fantastic mentoring program.

Hope you will take advantage of this great opportunity!
