Deferred Action (now being referred to as "DACA") begins today. In order to qualify an individual must have arrived in the U.S. when they were under the age of sixteen. In addition they must have been physically present in the U.S. and under the age of 31 when the policy was announced on June 15, 2012. The Law Office of Yolanda Navarrete is offering free consultations and personal evaluations through the end of August, specifically related to deferred action. If you qualify you will be able to apply for an employment authorization as well as a driver's license. All consultations are confidential. Our office is 100% bilingual Spanish/English.
