Another Traffic Snafu Slows Speedwell

More utility work near Henry Street expected to complicate morning commute.

The emergency utility work that snarled the traffic on Speedwell Avenue on Monday has returned for an encore, Morristown Police said.

The Department sent out an advisory message at 6:45 a.m. Wednesdayy morning advising drivers to avoid Speedwell near Henry Street due to "significant traffic backups and other issues" caused by the work.

Morristown Police reported that while the road was still open, anyone traveling through the area should "expect delays."

Like Monday, the work is expected to be completed in three hours.
