Morristown Temple to host Shalom on the Range Open House on Friday

Want to learn more about Morristown’s Temple B'nai Or? They’re hosting Shalom on the Range for new and prospective members. Temple B'nai Or welcomes prospective members to their annual open house event.

“This year we will have fun and fellowship with a Western theme at our ‘Shalom on the Range New Member Meet Up.’  We will enjoy square dancing with a professional caller, games for all ages and a cook out,” according to its Patch event listing. Services will follow at 7:30 p.m.

At the Morristown-Morris Township Library, there are several events going on this Friday.

• Pre-School Craft Story Time at 10 a.m. Come listen to some stories and make a simple craft to take home. All supplies provided and the activity is sponsored by The Friends of the Library. It runs every Friday from July 9 – Aug. 16
• At 2 p.m. the library will host its Friday Flicks: Wreck-It Ralph. Come watch Ralph try and change his image. For decades, Ralph has played the bad guy in his popular video game. In a bold move, he embarks on an action-packed adventure and sets out to prove to everyone that he is a true hero with a big heart, according to the library. Rated PG. 
• Later is the Teen Trivia Challenge from 4 – 5 p.m. Test your knowledge with a trivia contest. There will be questions in all different categories with a grand prize of a $25 gift card to Barnes & Noble. Snacks will also be provided.

Head over to the Morris County Library for their summer Friday film: Barrymore. It starts at 2 p.m. and is 83 minutes long. This film is not rated. Films are free and seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis in the public meeting room
