Enough Already! Tell Congress: End the Shutdown and Handle the People's Business.

If you are appalled by the hypocrisy on display in Washington, angry about the shutdown,  and - like 70% of Americans - find the behavior of Republicans in Congress disgraceful, please come out for an hour Tuesday morning to make your voice heard. Only when enough of us stand together voicing our disapproval can we have any hope of moving elected representatives like Rep. Frelinghuysen from their entrenched positions towards one of compromise.

In just the past several weeks,Rep. Frelinghuysen has indicated to constituents: that he did NOT favor a shutdown of the government, that he believes the US should NEVER default and should pay its bills on time and that he WOULD vote for a debt ceiling increase. Yet, despite voicing these positions publicly, he has gone along with Boehner and the House Republicans at every turn. He was not among the group of House Republicans saying they would vote for a "clean CR" last week.

What's going on? If Congressman Frelinghuysen is truly the reasonable person he proclaims, why does he continue to stand why the radical element in his party?  Please join us Tuesday October 15 at 11:00am in front of Rep. Frelinghuysen's Morristown Office (30 Schuyler Place, Morristown NJ),  so we can ask this question and ask for an end to the shutdown that is harming many Americans.
