The Montessori Children’s Academy Accepting Applications for Fall

The Montessori Children’s Academy of Convent Station is accepting applications for children ages 2 ½ through Kindergarten for its 2014-2015 school year.  We offer both half- and full-day Early Childhood sessions with an Extended Hours program available for all enrolled students.  Complementing our Montessori curriculum, children participate in weekly Spanish and Music classes, with Kindergarten (and Elementary students, in Short Hills only) also receiving instruction in Technology, Physical Education, and Health.  MCA also has partnered with LEAF Approach to Enrichments to offer on-site enrichment programs, such as Yoga, Art, Digital Design, and Educational Games.

MCA currently serves more than 450 local families at our Convent Station, Chatham, and Short Hills campuses.  The Short Hills campus also provides elementary education for children in 1st through 6th grades.  Our programs are guided by the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, an Italian physician and educator, who was passionately dedicated to the welfare and development of young children.
