This series focuses on real people, real struggles, faith lost and faith renewed.  The first week, Vern Verhoef will describe the events prompting him to leave the phar-maceutical industry in 2004 and later to teach at Daytop, a therapeutic community in Mendham for teenagers recovering from drug and alcohol abuse.  The second week, students from Daytop will tell their stories, how they became involved with drugs or alcohol and how Daytop provides tools to help move past dependency and abuse.
