Morristown Farmers Market Returns June 19

Get your fill of freshness from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays.

Hungry for something fresh? Something local? Both?

Then, make sure to stop by the Morristown Farmers Market from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays starting Sunday, June 19, and running every weekend through Nov. 20.

Garlic bulbs still-on-the-stalk, 70 varieties of tomatoes, “the flower guy,” and eight unique varieties of cantaloupe and watermelon, according to a press release from the , which organizes the farmers market.

For 23 weeks, the Morristown Partnership presents 16 New Jersey farms and specialty vendors, and additional specialty vendors on each month’s "Second Sunday" alongside a few select Morristown businesses and live local entertainment.

In addition, the Morristown Partnership is once again joining forces with the of Morristown at the 2011 Morristown Farmers Market. Each Sunday farmers donate fresh fruits and vegetables to the Community Soup Kitchen's 300 daily visitors.

Patrons of the Morristown Farmers Market can help the Community Soup Kitchen by purchasing and donating fresh produce in the vessel provided at the center of the market.
