Morristown Residents to be Honored at Dream Builders' Bash

Homeless Solutions to hold 14th annual event on March 28.

Homeless Solutions of Morristown is preparing for its 14th Annual Dream Builders’ Bash on Friday, March 28, and everyone is invited.

The event is set for 6:30 p.m. at the Westin Governor Morris in Morristown, and will include dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions, a wine pull and jewelry raffle. 

Also on the itinerary for the evening is the honoring of two philanthropic leaders from the past 20 years. Grant and Helen Parr of Morristown will be honored by the Homeless Solutions Board. Grant Parr served on HSI’s Board of Trustees for six years, and Helen Parr has been an advocate through the Mission Committee at the New Vernon Presbyterian Church.

Mary Kennon will also be honored with the Mary Van Kirk Spirit of Volunteerism Award on the night of the Bash. Kennon has been providing and preparing one meal a month for 85 shelter guests since June of 1999, according to Homeless Solutions.
