200 Strong Erect Morristown Playground

New play space springs to life at Morristown Community House.

More than 200 volunteers from MetLife, Morristown Neighborhood House, organizers from KaBOOM! and residents of the community will join came together to build a new playground at Morristown Neighborhood House.

The new playground’s design is based on drawings created by children who participated in a Design Day event in July.

The new playground will provide nearly 100 children in the community with a safe place to play. Currently, Morristown Neighborhood House does not have suitable playground equipment for the children served by its pre-school program.

The new play space is being funded through a grant from MetLife Foundation and the project is one of more than 150 play spaces KaBOOM! will build across the country in 2013 in an effort to provide a great place to play within walking distance of every child in America.
