Pothole Problems: Where Are the Worst Road Craters in Morristown?

Harsh winter has wreaked havoc on New Jersey roadways.

It's been a rough winter, no one's questioning that.

From snow days at school to salt shortages throughout the state, towns have had to deal with the inclement weather on a daily basis, Morristown included.

With the heavy snow and ice accumulations over the past couple of months, roads may have suffered the most, as small cracks in the pavement a few weeks ago have become tire-busting craters nearly impossible to avoid.

Each town has its share of notoriously bad potholes drivers try to avoid for fear of a blowout, or even worse.

So, Morristown, which roads have the worst potholes in town? Let us know in the comments, and if you've got a photo of a bad spot, be sure to send it over to jason.koestenblatt@patch.com.

The corner of James St. and South St always has recurring potholes throughout the year (poor drainage) and I noticed the potholes on Madison and South St. were just patched...for now.

The corner of James and South streets have been a disaster for a long time even before all of the snow storms. The large piles of snow and puddles of water on those corners have made it next to impossible for pedestrians to cross there now.

Ditto and James and south. I'd like to see the mayor get a baby stroller through there.
