Religious Freedom Talk, CASA Cut-a-Thon This Week

It's another week beginning, and another opportunity to find out what's going on in your community. Get excited!

  1. If your luscious locks are in need of a little trim, why not schedule to get those hairs cut between 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. Monday at Aura Salon & Spa, as they participate in a "Cut-a-Thon" to benefit Court Appointed Special Adocates of Morris and Sussex Counties. 
  2. Religious freedom in Israel is the topic at a free Monday, 7 p.m. event at Temple B'Nai Or. The speaker will be Rabbi Miri Gold of Kibbutz Gezer, Israel.
  3. For those looking for a little more Zen in their lives, head over to Empty Bowl Zendo at 6:25 p.m. Tuesday for their weekly Zen Meditation sitting. Free, but donations accepted.
  4. On Wednesday, the Zoning Board of Adjustment meets at 7:30 p.m. at Morristown Town Hall. Not exactly sure what the Zoning Board does? Check out this handy-dandy link to get you caught up on your government.
  5. For all you Russian film fans out there, Morristown and Morris Township Library's Russian Film Series will conclude at 6:30 p.m. Thursday as they show the 2003 film "Cuckoo." Free, and light refreshments will be served.
