Sea of Santas to Crawl Morristown Saturday

Nearly 1,000 people plan to attend eighth annual holiday pub crawl.

This is a busy time of year for the Santa in all of us, and for the eighth time in as many years the Santa Pub Crawl is returning to Morristown so those stressed out with the hustle and bustle of the season can take a night to blow off some steam.

According to the group's Facebook page, there isn't much that has to be done in way or preparation. In fact, there is no set route this year.

"This year there will be no set route. This will help the bars with overcrowding and give a little more space to relax and celebrate the holidays with fellow Santas. So what do you need to do? Show up in Morristown wearing your best Santa or Mrs. Claus outfit and spread Christmas cheer," the organizers posted.

It all starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday, and the Hyatt at Headquarters Plaza is offering a promotional deal for those interested in booking rooms.

Call 1-800-233-1234 and request SNOW1 or 75972 rate.

"I booked it just now over the phone they said they still have availability," John Rudy posted on the social media site. "Total came to $79.35. A little more than a cab both ways but cheaper than a DWI."

Tell us: Will you be attending this year?
