'90s Nostalgia: Alanis Morissette, Barenaked Ladies to Perform in Morristown

Anyone spending enough time at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown next week might think they took a time machine back to the musical musings of the 1990s.

On July 22 and 25, respectively, the venue will host Barenaked Ladies and Alanis Morissette for one show each.

Barenaked Ladies will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday night, with tickets still available and ranging from $49 to $79. The Canadian alternative rock band is known for its ‘90s hits “One Week,” “Pinch Me,” and “If I Had A Million Dollars.” Elliot Brood will open for the group.

Morissette’s show will be an intimate and acoustic performance, with tickets ranging from $69 to $129, which are still available. The event begins at 8 p.m. Morissette, also Canadian and best known for her ‘90s work, constructed chart-topping hits like “Ironic,” “You Oughta Know,” and “Hand in My Pocket.”
