1920s Country Fair and Harvest Festival

The Morris County Park Commission’s Fosterfields Living
Historical Farm welcomes you to the 1920s Country Fair and Harvest Festival on Sunday, September 9 from 12 Noon to 5 p.m. for an afternoon of farm animals, exhibits, wagon rides, music, food, games, tours, and so much more! Special event fees are $8 for adults, $7 for
seniors, $6 for children ages 4 to 16, $4 for children ages 2 and 3 and FREE for children under age 2.

Meet the farm animals including horses, cows, pigs, sheep, and chickens. Give your best guesses at the cow judging, and piglet weigh-in. Hop aboard the open-air wagon for a unique ride, or go for a spin in an antique
car. Watch the farmers operate a gasoline engine, tap your toes to the rhythms of the Long Hill String Band, or play old-fashioned games.

Lend a hand cider pressing, and breathe the aromas of
woodstove cooking in the Farmhouse Kitchen. See many fine examples of hand crafts, baked, canned and preserved goods, and floral and vegetable displays. Local
farm produce is available for purchase, and food concessions are sure to satisfy. For more information, please call 973-326-7645.
