Fourth Annual Morristown's Got Talent

Talent show at The Community Theatre on February 23 to spotlight the best amateur talent form Morristown, Morris Plains and Morris Township

The Morris Educational Foundation announced its fourth annual "Morristown's Got Talent!' show, featuring the best amateur talent from Morristown, Morris Plains and Morris Township, will be held on February 23rd, 2011 at The Community Theatre at Mayo Center for the Performing Arts in Morristown, New Jersey.

Four distinguished arts and entertainment professionals will judge the competition. There is a $1,000 cash prize for 1st place, $500.00 for second place and $250.00 for third place.  

"The Morris Educational Foundation is very excited about this year's show.  We are proud to give our local amateur community an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of their hometown, and in a top notch facility such as The Community Theater at the Mayo Performing Arts Center" said Vince Morreale,  Board Member and Co- Chairman of the Morristown's Got Talent Committee.  "We are anticipating selling out the theater once again this year!"

"The Morris Educational Foundation is a integral part of the Morris School District and this fund raising event will further the Foundation's ability to distribute financial and other resources to and for the Morris School District for enrichment programs and other projects aimed at enhancing the quality of education and educational opportunities for students in the district, "added Debbie Sontupe, Chair of the Board of the Morris Educational Foundation.
