Fridays on the Green Free Concert Series in Morristown Returns This Spring

The Morristown Fridays-on-the-Green free lunchtime music series resumes in 2011 on three Fridays in March with a variety of musical programs for all ages and tastes. These 30 to 45 minute concerts begin at 12:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary of The Presbyterian Church in Morristown. Lunch at the church is provided by Morristown caterer, C'est Cheese, at nominal prices before and after each program. The concerts are free and open to the public. On March 11, Soprano Elise Figa sings "Art Songs from the 17th Century".  On March 18, the Steve Hess Band with guest saxophonist, Rob Middleton, perform jazz compositions.  Last concert in March, on March 25 features internationally acclaimed bagpiper, Paula Glendinning, accompanied by organist James Hicks (Director of Music, The Presbyterian Church in Morristown) performing music in the Scottish tradition.  Check out the PCM website for more concerts on Fridays in May and October.
