Installation of Rev. Dr. David Smazik as Senior Pastor at The Presbyterian Church in Morristown

The Presbyterian Church in Morristown welcomes new Senior Pastor and Head of Staff, Rev. Dr. David Smazik with an installation ceremony on Sunday afternoon, January 23, 2011.  Pastor Smazik and his wife, Ann, arrived last November from  Rockford illinois, where, for the past 17 years, Pastor Smazik served as Senior Co-Pastor at the 900-member Westminster Presbyterian Church. 

Both Dave and Ann Smazik were born and raised in Illinois.  Pastor Smazik completed a Religion/Psychology double major at Hope Both Dave and Ann Smazik were born and raised in Illinois.  Pastor Smazik completed a Religion/Psychology double major at Hope College, and received a masters in counseling psychology and a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Seminary with an emphasis on church revitalization. He was ordained in 1982.

The installation service is free and open to the public with a reception following the ceremony.
