Munchies 4 Mom

The Church of the Messiah invites the public to its second cookie sale fundraiser, “Munchies 4 Mom."

• Guests will find tables filled with trays upon trays of homemade  cookies, candies, chocolates, muffins and breakfast breads all guaranteed to make Mom’s special Mother’s Day breakfast a delicious beginning to a day filled with celebrating Mom.

  There will be cookies of all different varieties and sizes: cut-out, drop, bar, and shaped cookies.  Two special items this year, are our Mother’s Day Cameos, homemade solid chocolate candy which look like cameo jewelry and decorated flower pots containing 6 flower-shaped cookies.  Both would make great gifts for mom!

Admission is free and the selections will be available for purchase at $7.00 per pound.  All foods sold will be labeled with their name and a complete list of ingredients.  Guests will be provided with gloves and a container to hand-pick their selections.

So why not leave the baking to us and let us help you provide for Mom’s surprise breakfast in bed without the kitchen mess, anxiety and aromas that will give away the surprise!  Don’t forget treats for your Grandma, Godmother or maybe a special woman friend who shares a place in your heart. 

“Munchies 4 Mom” is a new fundraiser to benefit the programs of the church such as food pantry donations, toys for needy children, Easter baskets for clients of area food pantries, Mission trip supplies, and support for our music program.
