Pastel is a lively, colorful medium for creating visually breathtaking landscapes. In this class, learn to use pastels to express light, shadow, value, and color, while exploring composition, atmosphere, and aerial perspective. Students are shown how to use the pastel medium in various ways for a number of different effects. Bring sketches or photographs to work form. Learn what to extract from a photo and what not to use. A demonstration is given. All levels welcome – beginners encouraged!
