Who Does She Think She Is?

Screening and panel discussion of "Who Does She Think She Is?," a documentary film directed by Academy Award winning producer, Pamela Tanner Boll. The event, presented by JSDD’s Wellness, Arts, and Enrichment (WAE) Center, will mark the culmination of Women’s History Month. The documentary surveys the struggles and joys of five women leading creative lives as artists while balancing the responsibilities of family. Their stories are sure to inspire conversation, and the film will be followed by a panel discussion featuring three local women artists who know firsthand the challenges and rewards of artistic endeavors: Kadie Dempsey, Documentary Photographer and Arts Administrator; Jill Maglio, Performer and Director--Holistic Circus Therapy; Christine Wagner, Visual Artist and Director--Guerilla Galleries. Original artwork by the Center’s emerging women artists will be on exhibit in the lobby where note cards and gift boxes of Enjou Chocolat, both featuring images from WAE center women artists, will be available for sale.
