Harry Connick Jr. Will Sing at MPAC

Award-winning artist to perform two concerts in June.

Grammy Award-winning artist, pianist and heartthrob Harry Connick Jr. will be making his way to a Morristown stage next month for two performances at the Morristown Performing Arts Center (MPAC).

Connick, who is most well-known for his several hit albums, recurring guest star role on NBC's "Will & Grace" and many Broadway musicals, will perform on June 29 and June 30 at 8 p.m. Tickets to the show will run from $89 to $175.

Connick's career launched after he was asked to contribute a song to the cult-classic film "When Harry Met Sally" in 1989, according to a press release sent by MPAC. Since then, he's gone on to perform in and produce several hit albums, including "Harry for the Holidays, a Christmas classic."

As far as acting, Connick has had roles in major motion pictures such as "Independence Day," starring Will Smith, "Hope Floats," "P.S. I Love You," and "New in Town." He has also appeared in television shows such as "Law & Order SVU" and "South Pacific." On the Broadway stage he has performed in "On A Clear Day You Can See Forever" and "The Pajama Game."

In addition to being nominated for Grammy and Emmy awards, Connick has also been nominated for Tony awards for his musical and acting performances on-stage.

On June 11, the singer will release his newest CD, entitled "Every Man Should Know," which features 12 original songs which Connick wrote the lyrics and music for.
